Our fees are competitive. We will inform you of the cost in writing before we undertake any work on your behalf. This amount will not be exceeded without your consent. There are no hidden charges.

In addition to our fees you will have to pay disbursements. These are expenses collected by the solicitor but payable to a third party. As such, the cost of a disbursement should not vary from solicitor to solicitor.

The main disbursements on a property purchase are Stamp Duty; Land Registry Fees and the Search Bundle

Abortive Costs

Unlike estate agents we do not work on a “no sale, no fee” basis. If the transaction does not proceed for whatever reason you still have to pay our charges for the work we have carried out on your behalf. We offer abortive insurance on purchases to cover our fee, survey and lender’s fees.

The premium for this insurance is only £39.90 when purchased alongside the usual search bundle.
